Michael Ling – Writer/Director/Producer

After graduating from the esteemed film school Columbia College Hollywood, Michael spent the next fifteen years working in the movie business. He has been a part of such films as Spider-Man 3, Avatar and John Carter. In 2003 he began to write his own material and received recognition around Hollywood with his exploitation thriller Party at Paulie's. He obtained the rights to The Bighead in 2007 and has spent the last few years working closely with Edward Lee to get the script just right. This is his directorial debut.



Donald Wygal – Producer 
 






Producer Donald Wygal has been in the movie and television business since 1996 and has worked on dozens of feature films and television shows such as, “Spawn”, “Amistad”, “Saving Private Ryan”, “The Ring Two”, “Halloween”“ (the Rob Zombie Version), "Twilight”, “The Kingdom” and “30 Minutes or Less”. He is currently the Associate Producer on two MTV scripted comedies, “Zach Stone is gonna be Famous” starring Bo Burnham and Tom Wilson, and people’s choice award winner “Awkward” starring Ashley Rickards and Beau Mirchoff.
 







Geoff Skinner – Producer

Creatively involved in everything from movies and television shows to games and comic books, Producer Geoff Skinner has well over a decade in the entertainment business and brings that expertise to this project. Geoff has been involved with The Bighead for over five years and is also a producer on the Kickstarter success story, Endangered, which wrapped production earlier this year. 











Tim Martin – Executive Producer

Executive Producer Tim Martin has spent most of his career in financial services, currently as the Group VP of U.S. Housing for TransUnion and formerly as the President of HSBC Auto Finance (a $13 billion auto lender that was a division of the 3rd largest bank in the world).  Tim has also been a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and is currently a board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Illinois Chapter.  He earned a BS in management and Phi Beta Kappa honors from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School, winning the Henry Ford II Scholar Award for the highest, first-year academic performance of his MBA class.





Fady Hadid – Director of Photography 
Fady Hadid

As a child, Fady’s fascination with his father’s camera ignited his passion for taking pictures. Many years later, he used it to capture the 2003 invasion of his hometown of Baghdad. 

Despite car bombs and death threats, Fady managed to develop a career in filmmaking in Iraq, holding key positions in producing, cinematography and sound design on several awardwinning projects, all while earning his engineering degree at the University of Baghdad. He has spoken about these challenging experiences to global media outlets such as the 
Los Angeles Times, The Times of London, The Guardian, Le Monde, BBC, CNN, ABC and NPR.

Fady left Iraq in 2007, when he was awarded a prestigious scholarship to study at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles. He earned an MFA degree in Film and Television Production focusing on cinematography and documentary filmmaking.  Fady’s work has played at festivals around the world and broadcast on major television networks, like the National Geographic Channel and the Sundance Channel. He is an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus, was a candidate for an ASC Heritage Award, and has won the Premio Rossellini award and three Webby Film and Video Awards. 


Mark Villalobos (Monster Effects Co-Founder) 

Monster FX produced the special monster and make up effects for the film. With decades of experience working on everything from features like The Devil’s Rejects to Black Eyed Peas music videos, Monster FX founders Mark Villalobos and Ron Karkoska specialize in creating unique, custom special effects on every project they tackle.
